Information for Voluneers for Slava Ukraini Dinner

FOOD PREPARATION

Chef Joel welcomes adults and teens (ages 15+ with food prep experience) to assist him in the kitchen for this event.

Most shift are 2-hours, but some are 4-hours.

Teen volunteers can earn volunteer hours for Honor Society or other volunteer requirements.

YOUTH SERVERS

Chef Joel welcomes High School teens (grades 9 and up, including rising 9th-graders) to volunteer as Servers for this event.

Volunteers should expect to be at MCLC for 4 hours.

Servers are requested to wear:

  • Black or dark slacks
  • White or light-colored top
  • Face masks
  • Comfortable shoes (dark-colored if you have them)

Servers will be responsible for these tasks:

  • Set tables
  • Fill water glasses
  • Fill water pitchers for each table
  • Serve first course
  • Clear first course
  • Serve main course
  • Clear main course
  • Serve dessert
  • Serve coffee
  • Put out cream, sugar on each table
  • Clear table
  • Assist Clean-up Crew

Servers will be fed dinner!

Youth will earn 4 hours towards Honor Society or other Volunteer requirements.

OTHER VOLUNTEERS

Other Volunteer tasks include:

  • Check-In for Sit-Down Dinner
  • Delivery of Take-Out Meals
  • Clean-Up Crew
  • Other Duties as Necessary
