6/4 (Tues) — 5:00-7:00pm – Kids Poke Bowls

Heard about Poke Bowls and want to give them a try?  Or, you’ve had them before and want to be able to make them yourself?  In this class, kids will create variations of the Hawaiian specialty Poke (pronounced po-kay — rhymes with OK).  Contrary to traditional Poke bowls, all fish used in this class will be cooked. There will be vegetarian Poke bowls as well!  We will start by preparing a variety of base ingredients including brown rice, soba noodles and mixed greens.  Then we will prepare three proteins: Sweet and Sour Tuna, Grilled Sesame Tofu, and Garlic Shrimp.  After setting up a Poke Bar with mix-ins such as corn, cucumber, avocado, pineapple and more, plus homemade sauces including Ponzu, Shoyu, Sweet Chili  and House Sauce, kids will get to create Poke masterpieces to enjoy.  Location: St. Mark’s.  Class Cost: $50.

6/17 (Mon) – 5:00-7:00pm – Kids Like Sweets!

If you have a Sweet Tooth (and what kid doesn’t?), you will love this class!  And even if not, you will still have fun learning how to prepare these delicious Sweets and Treats, and you’ll be able to take some yummy treats home to share.  On the menu:  Chocolate Fudge Cookies; Strawberry Mousse; S’more Nachos; Maple Buttercream Candies; and Coconut Cream Drops.  Location: St. Mark’s.  Class Cost: $50.

6/18 (Tues) – 5:00-7:00pm – Momma Mia, That’s Italian!
